Rhine Watches is pleased to offer this Rolex Datejust Ref. 16030 from 1985. The 16030 datejust is a great entry point into the world of vintage Rolex. You have the look and feel of a vintage watch but some modern niceties such as quick set date wheel and a more refined case and jubilee bracelet. The watch is powered by the highly reliable Rolex calibre 3035 which beats at 28,800 and has a power reserve of around 50 hours.
 
Down to the nitty gritty. If you're looking for a truly untouched example of a 16030 then this is the one for you. The case, bracelet and clasp show signs of wear but are all still completley unpolished. With this you still have thick, sharp case and prominent Rolex crown on the clasp. 
 
From the top, the watch has its correct 555 end links, 62510H jubilee bracelet and folding clasp which is stamped G, indicating a production year of 1982. The bracelet is also fitted with all 20 links which will fit up to a 19.5cm wrist. The serial number is 888****
 
This model is fitted with the sought after navy dial which under direct sunlight turns voilet. It's quite something. All the lume plots are intact and have gone thick and creamy over time.
